SMK Ulu Kinta principal Azizah Shariff said students could also take the opportunity to forge closer ties with their family since June 19 was also Father’s Day.
“It would be a great family time for everyone to come together and have a relaxing walk,” she said.
She added that the school was going all out to promote the event among its 1,600 students to increase their participation.
“We hope to increase our entries to 600 this time compared with 400 last year,” she added.
